Reshma Beauties, ‘wrinkles’ is the most dreaded word in Beauty. Celebrities spend thousands of dollars on fillers, injections, cosmetic surgeries and other invasive procedures to look young. Let’s first understand what causes wrinkles? Fine lines and wrinkles are caused when the top layer of your skin thins out and loses its moisture and elasticity. When you age, you begin to lose elastin and collagen fibers in your skin which causes sagging skin. Sun exposure is another factor contributing to aging skin. There could also be other reasons like pollution, heredity, diet, smoking, excessive use of cosmetics etc.
LUCKILY FOR YOU, here is my personal three-step formula to keep wrinkles at bay!
When the muscles on your face tense up, they are more likely to harbor wrinkles, which is why they need to be massaged out regularly. For oily and acne-prone skin, it’s best to keep it to under 10 minutes. If skin has a normal to dry complexion, no longer than 20 minutes is necessary. I recommend using 2-3 drops of the Reshma Henna Infused Hair Oils to massage your face in an upward circular motion and gently tap the skin to increase the blood and oxygen flow to your face. Also, don’t forget about the neck and décolletage area. Massaging helps with collagen production, thereby, providing you with a natural facelift.
After this step, I encourage using the Reshma Beauty UBTAN ‘Turmeric’ Face Mask which is infused with Gram Flour, Barley and Sandalwood. These natural ingredients are known for their gentle exfoliating properties that help get rid of dirt, pollutants and other residue that clog our pores. This step works even better after massaging your skin. You can take 1 tablespoon of Ubtan and mix that with 1 teaspoon of yoghurt or milk and gently rub that on your skin. Wash this off with the Reshma Cucumber and Aloe Vera Face Wash and then spray some Reshma Rosewater to balance the pH levels of your skin.
That final step is my favorite as Cucumber, Aloe Vera and Rosewater are so soothing and refreshing. They are the perfect ingredients to revive dull, aging skin. To find out more about our anti-aging products, visit our skincare section.
